It is with great pleasure that I write to you about the recent volleyball tournament that was held in loving memory of Soldier Shaheed Akshay Pathania. Shaheed Akshay Pathania was a brave soldier who sacrificed his life for the nation while fighting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. The tournament was organized to pay tribute to his immense bravery and patriotism.

The volleyball tournament was an all open event, with many teams participating from different parts of the country. The atmosphere was electric as players and spectators alike were eager to showcase their skills and witness some thrilling volleyball matches. The 1st prize for the tournament was 31,000/- and the 2nd prize was 21,000/-.

The tournament was held on 5th February 2023, which was a Sunday. The matches were played throughout the day, with each team displaying great passion and determination to win the tournament. After a long and grueling day of matches, the team from Jagdev Kalan emerged as the champions of the tournament, while the team from Govt. College Ludhiana finished as the runners-up.

The tournament was a great success, not just in terms of the exciting matches played, but also in terms of the spirit of sportsmanship and unity that was displayed throughout the event. It was a fitting tribute to the brave soldier Shaheed Akshay Pathania and a great way to celebrate the game of volleyball.
